The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who was seen on a security camera video assaulting another man outside of a Sunoco Gas Station Sunday, Aug. 21, around 5 a.m.
Video shows a 36-year-old Milford man had been sitting in front of the gas station, when a second man showed up, driving a gold or beige GMC Suburban with no license plate.
The two men are seen on the video speaking, after which the man began assaulting the victim for several minutes, kicking and hitting him in the head and face repeatedly. The man is then reportedly seen on the video entering his vehicle and fleeing the scene.
Deputies and Star EMS responded to the call of the victim laying unconscious outside the gas station. Upon arrival, the man was unconscious, foaming from the mouth, and having difficulty breathing.
The sheriff’s office has announced it will not be releasing the video at this time, due to the severity of the attack. The office “will attempt to retrieve still photos of the suspect and his vehicle tomorrow for release,” according to a report.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set black man, wearing a light-colored shirt and driving a GMC Suburban.
