PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A pickup truck crash into a Land O’ Lakes fire station caused a gas leak and road closures Sunday.
According to Pasco County Fire Rescue, a F-250 crashed into Fire Station 37 on State Road 54 around 1 p.m.
Officials said the truck crashed into a high pressure gas main before hitting the front bays of the station.
The gas leak was capped a short time after the crash. There were no evacuations ordered.
Crews did close SR 54 between Sunlake Blvd and Ballantrae Blvd for a brief period of time.
The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
