CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Three men are dead after an early morning shooting near a gas station on Cleveland’s East Side.

A 40-year-old man died at the scene in the 8800 block of Buckeye Avenue shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a media release from the police.

Two other men, ages 40 and 36, were taken to University Hospitals where they died, the release said.

Three women were also shot in the incident. A bullet grazed the head of a 36-year-old, a 30-year-old was shot in the leg, and a 43-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the ankle.

A fourth man was taken to University Hospitals in a private vehicle, police said.
