NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Nashville Fire Department is on the scene of a gas leak in downtown Nashville.
According to the fire department, fire crews responded to 222 2nd Ave. North after a construction crew reportedly hit an eight-inch gas line.
Crews on scene tell FOX 17 News buildings between Church and Union St. were evacuated, but there is no danger to the public.
Piedmont is working to fix the line. There is no estimate as to when people will be let back in the buildings.
