Officials said a man was flown to the hospital after an apparent gas explosion at a home in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County.
The fire chief said it happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of New Hanover Square Road.
The blast caused fire damage to the basement and the first floor, and blew out multiple windows.
There's no word on the condition of the man who was flown to the hospital.
The fire chief said other family members were in the house at the time of the explosion, but they were not hurt.
The fire chief said the cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
