A PG&E gas leak Friday afternoon prompted evacuations in San Francisco, according to the fire department.
The leak involved a one-inch PG&E pipe in the 1-100 block of Southpark, fire officials said.
Precautionary evacuations were conducted by San Francisco police, and fire officials also issued a shelter in place for those not able to evacuate.
