UPDATE: The Sun Prairie Police Department reports that the gas leak has been shut off, and there are no injuries.
The gas line break was reported at 1:46 p.m. and the gas was was shut off at 2:11 p.m. by WE Energnies according to police officials.
The all clear was given at 3:15 p.m.
The fire department reports that a construction crew struck an above ground gas main. A block radius around Church and Angell streets were evacuated as a precaution. Firefighters were sent to check all buildings to make sure there weren't gas concerns. All came back clear and all evacuees were allowed to return.
