BRADENTON, Fla. — Evacuation orders are lifted after Bradenton residents evacuated their homes due a gas leak in the area, Manatee County Government Public Safety Department officials said.
Manatee County Sheriff Charles R. Wells announced the gas leak in a Tweet Saturday morning, notifying the public to avoid the area.
9th Street West to 19th Street West and 30th Avenue West to 21st Avenue West were closed in both directions while deputies assisted Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue with the gas leak.
14th Street W. from 26th Ave W to 30th Ave W. is closed in both directions while deputies assist Cedar Hammock Fire with a possible gas leak. Evacuations are underway for residents in that location and traffic is being detoured. Avoid the area and seek alternate routes. pic.twitter.com/8YvVB7Ekux

TECO will be in the area to work on repairs to the affected line.
All roads have been reopened for traffic.
